This International Insurance company are currently looking for a Payroll Manager to take complete responsibility for their UK based operations. You will be managing all aspects of the payroll function up to and including the Year End process. Additionally you will be required to review the current work practices and processes and make recommendations on and implementing of improvements. The role will involve liaison with senior management and preparing reports as and when required. You will have close links with the HR function and have full responsibility for the established team of payroll clerks. The ideal applicant will come from a Banking or Financial Services company, although experience of any large blue chip organisation is a strong advantage. You will need a minimum of four years staff supervision experience to be considered for the role.
